Hi I am just ploughing through unit 1 and I'm finding some of the knowledge points confusing. - K7 bisic principles of modern medicines management, K24 dosage forms and their properties and use, k26 different strengths, doses and quantities of medicines and why they are used, and k49 do you have to cover all those points including use of placebo? I may be looking too deeply at these points and may be more straightforward than I think but I know someone out there will have the help I need. Thanks in advance
hey lizzie hope this helps k7 n k49 modern medicine n placebo i covered by using a spriva respimat rx and explaining and showing patient how to load it just make sure u add confidentiality taking them in consultation room etc it also covers 1.5 pcs 1,2,5 range f,la,q,m,l. k24 i covered with a rx for inhalers, paracetamol suspension n prednisolone sol tabs all on 1 rx i then gave them a steroid card and pil for paracetamol n explained how to use inhalers i covered pcs 1,2,3,5,8,10 range a,1a,4a,n,q,k,m,f knowledge 1,4,12,24,25,48,49 and last 1 k26 i covered with a rx for zineryt that i had used on 1.4 and also one where doctor had picked sodium chloride instead of sodium bicarbonate and patient had kidney failure hope this helps you good luck
