    Sending off work

Does anybody else send their work to the NPA for marking? All the way through I've had a marker in Bristol, until I got a letter just before sending off Module 13 saying to send it all to NPA.
I got the Module back, but I haven't had my Unit back yet. Any idea how long they take? it's been about 3 weeks now.
    Thanks
    Gin

    Hey Ginny,

I've got the same issue - my assesser has left and I'm having to send my work to the NPA training department until I am assigned a new assesser. However am slightly stuck as I had a resub to do which I've sent off about 2 and a half weeks ago, but have completed Unit 6 and Module 13 but can't send it off as the form for them to sign off the units is with my resub! I probably should have held on and sent it all at once but was a bit worried about getting the resub in as it was already late :/
Oh well...plodding on with Module 14 and Unit 5 now. Not much else I can do in the meantime!

Well Tarnia...I've called the NPA today & although I sent my stuff to them for 14th Feb the Unit didn't get to the right section until the 21st- and then it can take up to 1 month from when they got it- so 21st March!

Make sme appreciate my old marker with her 2 week turn around!

I guess thats my resub beggered then - I sent it off Friday 18th Feb and assuming it got there on the Monday 21st looks like I'll be waiting around the same time to send my next Module and Unit then, though am running about 2 weeks behind anyway. Maybe I'll be able to catch up during Module 14 and Unit 5 but looking at the work involved I doubt it!

If you call them they may be able to find your re-sub & put together, or at least take the sheet from it? When I called the lady had to look on pc- so they may know exactly where it is. Don't know if it's possible but you could ask. Have to admit, although she didn't tell me what I wanted to hear the NPA lady was very helpful!

Might be an idea - not in work tomorrow so will have to be Thursday. Are you doing Unit 5? I'm just wading through the Unit Workbook at the moment and I'm wondering how in depth I need to go for some of the activitys they're wanting me to do. Quite tedious so far :/

I've started it- done workbook. It does seem to be a lot of duplicating stuff- again! We don't have appraisals ond stuff, but I used to work for LloydsTSB so I know what they should be like.
    Good luck x

    Hey Ginny, me again!

I was just wondering have you had any issues with Unit 5 in regards it says the workbook should cover all the knowledge but I'm finding some of the "activities" don't always correspond properly with the knowledge, or is this just me? Maybe I'm just being dense, but after writing the activity and then looking at the knowledge its as if I have to add things to the activity in order to pass the knowledge part, which is a tad hard when I've used all the space they've provided :/
Anything I'm really unsure about I'll cover with an activity report, but was just wondering if you had the same issues as me.

    Tarnia
