module 12 case studies

hi can anyone help me please has anyone done module 12 case studies 1, a,b,c clobetasone oint 20%with white soft paraffin x400g describe how you would dispense this item including calculations,weighing,and dispensing procedures then describe the records you keep and include a copy of the entry you would make then describe how you would endorse the script as we dont do this in our pharmacy thankyou sezza

If your pharmacy has an NHS contract you may well be called upon to do this - suggest you ask your pharmacist tutor/course supervisor to go through the process with you.
i.e. Show you the extemp prep record book with previous examples maybe?
Is always easier to answer a question when shown a previous completed example which shows what is expected. Hope this helps.

hi trulylovelyperson thx for your advice but we dont have a nhs contract but i will ask my pharmacist to go through this with me thx sezza

we don't do this in our pharmacy either-but we still have the equipment ie scales,weights,spatulas etc, so the phamacist let me make it up it was really interesting to see how it used to be done. A colleague took photos with my phone and I wrote it up
