if a prescription states zineryt 10p would you default to using 10 x 30ml as this also comes in 90ml the instructions state apply twice daily but no length of time. or refer back to prescriber?

thanks, checked it with pharmacist today and he said 1 original pack and default to 30ml as pack size is not stated
doesn't zineryt ahve an expiry once its amde up as well...so if it was for 10 packs, the patient would surely ahve to amke up some of the packs themselves.....
Has an expiry of 5 wks after reconstitution.

lets hope they don't pay for their prescriptions and only get 30ml pack sizes a time for the next how ever many months they will be on it!
you are right however in the past where more than one pack is on the prescription we would give owings out as allowing the patient to make up the solution is not covered in the licence.
