    Question bendroflumethiazide

Hi can someone please reassure me that i am right to think that an issue between bendroflumethiazide tablets an peptac liquid is the salt levels in peptac

Most likely. Diuretics remove salt from the body, pts should avoid taking products with high levels of sodium content. Mostly comes up in cystitis where the potassium salt is preferred for pts with BP.

I remember that question- I asked my Pharmacist, then 2 more Pharmacist friends just to be on the safe side, they all agreed that it was!

if i saw them together i probably wouldn't bat an eyelid at the combination. i doubt there is that much salt in peptac to cause a raise in BP which is cause for concern...you could always sell the patient a home BP testing kit if you were worried!
