Have you got a book/booklet that details all of the performance criteria, ranges and knowledge requirements? That is the standards. On the NPA course, there is a section towards the back of the booklet which has a pink bit at the side, that gives more ideas/examples etc

Returning to warehouse:
(PCs 1,3,5,7,8,9)
- Unpacking delivery, found that item was incorrect/too short dated/too much (whatever the problem is) etc
- As the stock not damaged, can return it
- Filled out returns book (or whatever you use to send stock back)
- Put somewhere that is not likely to cause trip hazard or checked weight of the trays to make sure not too heavy etc (something Health & Safety related) until collected by wholesaler
Attach as your evidence a copy of the returns book
Delivery to Patient: (choose one with an out of stock item)
(PCs 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8)
- Talk through how you dispense item eg select from front shelf (mention about stock rotation) check against Rx, check it is in date etc
- Find an item out of stock, mention how you deal with this (eg generate an owing, call patient to explain)
- Make sure once Pharmacist has checked that items are put in correct bag/tray (eg carrier bag rather than paper bag as easier for driver to carry etc)
- Fill out any delivery records, make sure that correct address on bag label
- Hand to driver/put with deliveries for driver ready to be taken to patients home
Attach copy of prescription, owings slip and any delivery paperwork
