Help with Unit 4 assignment (Buttercups)

    Hi,

Has anyone completed unit 4 assignment? I'm rubbish when it comes to maths so having a hard time getting to grips with this one. It's to do with extemporaneous preparation.
For question 3 Betnovate 1 in 10 with E45 40g, I don't know how to calculate how much of each ingredient is needed. Is there a formula for this? Can someone help me start off with question one or point me in the right direction - I have to read a worksheet and then state the errors found.

I'm probably making this out to be harder then it is but once I get started then it should be fine. Thanks for you help and patience

hiya, ive recently done this assignment despite never doing extemporanious prep.
the way i worked it out was :
    40g / 10 parts = 4g Betnovate (need 1 part of 10 parts)
    40g - 4g = 36g E45

    hope this helps

Hi I have just done this one it's currently with buttercups at the mo being marked. I'm really bad at maths too but luckly I had a very good pharmacist to help and show me the errors of my ways. If your still struggling why don't you phone them and ask for some help they are very patient and understanding. Belive me if I haven't passed it when it comes back I'm phoning them for help cos I wouldn't know where to start again after struggling to get it done in the first place haha good luck let me know if I can help at all! Good luck x
