Well what is the question then?

describe 4 aims in the management of disease and for each provide an example of a drug that fulfills these aims

Control BP- ramipril
maintain blood sugar levels and aid in reducing cardiovascular risk- gliclazide
treatment of cellulitis to resolve the infection- flucloxacillin (providing they aren't penicillin allergic)
DVT- load with warfarin with enoxaparin cover until INR in range. thins the blood and reduces the chance of further clots forming

something along those lines.....

The main aims are:
- To relieve symptoms (eg Ventolin Inhaler)
- To cure the disease (eg Amoxicillin)
- To control the symptoms (eg Beclomethasone Inhaler)
- To prevent disease (eg Flu Vaccine)
as most drugs will fall into one or more of these 4 categories.
