hi i have just started my 2nd year of pharmacy technicians course level 3 , i fell behind with my first year and dont want to do the same again this year have received my work books late :-( apparently the NPA were late sending them , not good as dont get any extra time , was just wondering if anyone else is starting the 2nd year as well as dont get alot of help in work and would be good to find someone in the same position as me so we could help each other if we get stuck on something

Hi Nicky. I have am on the second unit/module of year two. I dont have study time ormuch help at work. I think it would be good to find someone in the same position as me.

Not been on this site before so hello everyone. I am currently on Module 13 unit 6 (NPA). I am really enoying it but I don't get any study time at work so sometimes its quite difficult. I have read the timetable and am dreading doing unit 1. Any help when I come to do it will be greatly appreciated. Good luck xxx

Hi,
I am currently doin unit 1 at the minute and its not as bad as it looks. The key is to claim as many of the criteria as possible on each report. I also found that getting the prescription as evidence first before you write the report easier then writing the report first. There is quite alot of things you cant claim through reports if you dont do extemporeous dispensing. Hope this helps

Don't know if this helps but my assesor said that one of the case studies or short answer questions that we did for extemp dispense will cover an evidence for unit 1
