Hi! Does any1 is currently doing NVQ3 module 5? I'm really confused with the dental script for co-amoxiclav 375, is that prescription correct or am I missing something...? how is everyone doing?
I think a few years ago co-amoxiclav couldn't be prescribed by a dentist. How old is your course? I'm pretty sure now dentists can prescribe co-amoxiclav 375.
they can, i just just started nvq3 module 5...they can prescribe 375, but not 625..cant see anything wrong with that script?may be the answer is yes-it can be dispensed as its written
It was in 2009 that Dentists could start prescribing co-amoxiclav 375 so if your course was written prior to this then they obviously wanted you to pick up that it wasn't in the Dentists formulary.
There's been a few things that show that the course hasn't been updated- I had a similar problem with the Dental formulary back on the Assistant's course.
