NVQ 3 Module 8
When doing the module 8 assessment I came across question 3 in the case study and i'm a little stuck. What would the issue be of a patient being dispensed Bendroflumethiazide 2.5mg in the last 6 months in relation to just being dispensed Lasoprazole 30mg and Peptac liquid? He's over weight, heavy smoker, aged 55 and a long distance lorry driver. Thank you for any help!

Re: NVQ 3 Module 8
I had to ask my Pharmacist about this one. The clue is sodium, which can affect hypertension, and is contained in Peptac.

Re: NVQ 3 Module 8
Hi i put that the peptac is not classed as a low sodium drug. there are low sodium alternatives ( see bnf). He may still be on the bendro.
