    I wouldconsider either.
I'm working in community at the moment but there won't be an opportunity to train any further where I am.

NHS jobs is the best place to start looking, but you are probably too late for any course starting this year. Best time to look is around February/March time. Set up an email alert on the NHS jobs website and you will get an email when they start to recruit for next year.

You apply through the NHS website using the online form, they write to you via email or to your account on the website offering you an interview or they don't send you anything in which case you haven't been selected to go further. You then have the interview and they'll let you know if it's a yes or a no. If you apply through a newspaper advert then you'll probably have to fill in an application form and send it via the post. The process usually takes weeks with the NHS.
