Hi all, am on the dreaded unit 4 too.
,Help!!!! am strugglng with the workplace policy which differs from manufacturers instructions. Any ideas?(I also have a mentor who is not interested and is no help at all)

Hi why do they agree do sign these contracts and then not help!! I just dont get it!! I had a brilliant mentor for my dispensing course. I am stuck on this part too but if i find out,i will let u know. :-)

Thanks. I know!!!!, my manager just can't be arsed, its like its a big hassle when i ask him to read my write-ups, never mind, asking for help when i'm stuck.thanks. Have got a few ideas from looking at past posts on here, such as shredder,or fridge, so am hoping i can use one of them

For mine I did the fridge. Its not an obvious choice but my marker accepted it. I took a copy of the manufacturers instructions off the fridge as evidence. Basically looked at keeping the fridge well ventilated etc etc which was also covered in our SOP. I also reflected on manufacturers in structions about checking temperature of fridge twice a day- our sop said only once a day- the manufacturers instructions ensure its an accurate reading throughout the day - important for stability of the medicines etc. I kind of made comparisons between our policy and the manufacturers and related it to fridge temperature monitoring etc.
