For unit 4 health & safety the book says that you need at least 1 policy for evidence. Can anyone please tell me if that means 1 policy in total, or each report needs 1 policy ? Thanks x
If you refer to a policy in your report- attach a copy, for example I wrote a report about appearance at work, and attached a copy of the relevant pages of the staff handbook referring to appearance. Also make sure you include a copy/photograph of your Health & Safety at Work Act poster- I didnt and had to resubmit!
This is the problem I have- there is no such thing as a staff handbook! I asked the pharmacist & he said it's at his discretion, and listed points he'd comment on, so all I could do was put that down.

i also used apperance at work and attached a photo of myself to demonstrate my - smart uniform, tidy hair, short cropped beard and so on. Of course now my pharmacist claims my assessor fancies me and thats why i get good grades! so bit of a double edged sword huh? Might be an idea if your workplace does'nt have a staff handbook
Thank god for that! Now I just need to find a policy! I think I'm getting there- but very slowly. Pharmacist has got lady coming from NHS tomorrow to discuss contract paperwork- which included health & safety so I'm hoping he might haver something I can use after it. As long as it goes well & he'll talk to me...
