I work for Boots. Never worked for Co-op. I would suggest Co-op.

I work for Co-op as a trainee dispenser and currently get £6.12 p.h. One of my collegues used to work for Boots and she once told me never to work for them as the way they treated their staff was appalling

'Back in the day' Boots was a good employer...but I escaped! All the people I know who are still there hate it! I have heard good and bad things about Co-Op too.......
I defected to a DD, which now own a 100 hour pharmacy, and now earn more as an dispenser currently doing my NVQ 3, than my friend who is an ACT at Boots!

Thats the same role as me! The exact amount also depends on your area/store. I work at a Flagship and earn more than that, but to me the money is not the problem at all. I hate the hours (alternate weeks of 7am-4pm which are quite nice, and 10am-7pm which is not!) and the lack of support from my line manager, also the size of the room in which about 10 of us work is ridiculous, and thats before the drivers start hoverring! My colleagues are great though!
