    Unhappy nvq3 unit 5 manage your work and development

    hi guys,
    just looking for a bit of advice if anyone can help?
    i am doing the npa nvq and i am on the last unit, i am in the middle of completing the workbook and am not sure what it's asking me to do on the SMART learing plans activity?
    has anyone done this?
    any advice greatly appriciated

    SMART has to do with attaining objectives. Regret have forgotten all except the T which stands for timed.

    Used to be Specific Measurable Achievable Realistic and Timebound. In other words, objectives shouldn't be too impossible to reach such as losing two stone in a week etc.

    Obviously you shone on your training courses. Probally know about KPIs etc.
    First thing drummed into me was having the RMA (Right Mental Attitude).

    Didn't shine exactly....had all that stuff drummed into me in the Prison Service. More like a b***** bootcamp!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    If you go back to the home work modules that relate to this workbook unit it should explain a bit in there. I didn't do unit 5 but I know when I was stuck on my last one I found a homework module that explained it. I do remember seeing SMART explained in one of the homework modules as well.
