    Grandfather clause

    Hiya,
I have a level 3 NVQ and worked in pharmacy for quite a few years.
But I'm not yet registered, can I register myself or does it have to be my employer?
I know we have till 2011 then the rules change.
any info and advice most welcome.

    Welcome, Price, & Merry Christmas.
If you have a piece of paper issued by a recognised provider of NVQ3-level training, then you have to contact the RPSGB yourself, your employer cannot do it on your behalf; see this page: Rpsgb.org: Pharmacy technicians
    Hope this helps!
P.S. if you're that keen on doing more MDS, I suggest you get your head examined!!!
