I am almost there with my NVQ3!!!!! just doing the last module now, one of the questions is Mrs x brings a script in and says she will be back in an hour, when you start to label the printer jams, no one can get it to work and no one can come out until tomorrow, what would you do in this situation?

I am a bit stuck - I know that all labels should be prepared by mechanical means not with a pen, requirement of RPSGB in 1984?? would I offer to deliver the next day when printer is fixed!

Often happens, I just write the label, apologise to pt and put through system when working again.

You mean you don't keep a typewriter in the pharmacy?!

You could do, although the patient may wish to take the script elsewhere.
