24th, November 2009, 05:21 PM #1 The Difference Between Law and Ethics I need to explain the difference between law and ethics. I've written a law is a rule made by the government that is used to control how society behaves whereas ethics is a system of accepted beliefs which control behaviour.
Is what I've written correct? 24th, November 2009, 05:50 PM #2 Re: The Difference Between Law and Ethics You've got the gist of it, I think. Have a look at wikipedia on ethics. Ethics - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia ....just my opinion

Ethics-are your own beliefs. For example it is wrong to kill
Laws-rules by authorities based on accepted beliefs/ethics. Hence murder is illegal
