2nd, November 2009, 08:23 PM #1 Theory Based Firstly, wonderful forum you have here.
Now to my question, I currently work as a Psychology assistant but would like to partake in some Pharmacy training (preferably starting at the bottom (MCA maybe). Now is this course theory based? or does it require you be employed/volunteer within the sector?
If so, can someone please recommend a course? 3rd, November 2009, 02:11 PM #2 Re: Theory Based To be able to do pharmacy courses such as MCA you need to be employed. 3rd, November 2009, 02:15 PM #3 Re: Theory Based Thank you for the reply. I further researched after I posted and it became apparent that this was the case.
A training provider has offered me an unaccredited MCA which can be topped on on finding employment/Voluntary work in the sector.
I'll dwell on it... 3rd, November 2009, 02:19 PM #4 Re: Theory Based If I were you I'd wait for a MCA position to become available and then do the training with them. 3rd, November 2009, 03:14 PM #5 Re: Theory Based I think i'll give it up as a bad idea. I am not prepared to leave my current role for an MCA position. This is why I wanted a theory based course.
Maybe if I see a trainee Pharmacy technician opportunity available in the future I'll go for it.
Thanks again for your input RBK 4th, November 2009, 12:56 PM #6 Re: Theory Based No problem
