    Re: Nvq 3

Sorry to hear the problems you are having.
I changed jobs during my NVQ and the new employer paid the old employer for the course so it is something to think about if you are really not happy there. I'm afraid it is very common that staff have no training time. I had to do all my work at home and bought a copy of the MEP and other books just so I could get on with it (they can usually be found on Ebay). My colleague has just finished her NVQ3 and it has taken her almost 4 years. The NPA were happy to keep giving extensions as they understand how difficult it is, especially if you have a young family at home.
I was working with locums the majority of the time but they were happy to sign my work off and to be honest they had more time to offer advice and answer any questions I had.
Please try and keep at it, it will benefit you.
    Good luck!

I think most people working in community pharmacy and studying for NVQ 2/3 find that they aren't given much, if any study time during work. Hospital seem to be so much better for training.
