Someone correct me if I'm wrong, But the K criteria don't have to be covered, unless you are not undergoing the tech cert. Thats what my course is like with buttercups.

Reagarding the K's , you'll be suprised what you can cover...K35 storage of medicines, eg fridge.... out of direct sunlight.... special containers ...original packaging.

K41 clic locks original packs special containers, so can cover both of these with one report. for an example making up an antibiotic, ot a methotrexate Script which then can be used for Unit 4 health and safety.
as for K43 I'd have to take a look at my workbook to see what I used, but hopefully this helps you.

Laura the NVq 3 is different to the buttercups I think

that's ok, I used to think they were trick questions but that are not and it's amazing how you can include them into your working days and reports.

Thats what I did. There are 18 modules in total, so you will have a "Progression Assessment" and then 14 to do, and 8 evidence units.

hi there, hope someone might be able to help on this one. just got my unit 1 back and have to re submit on a couple of items.ielement 1.2 on standards - contra indications. how have you guys handled this one. thought i had a great example but was rejected as a drug interaction not a contraindication. i can't ever remembering seeing one in our pharmacy and i have to give a real example. hope someone can throw some light on this. also are contraceptive pills exempt from VAT as this was rejected too. i thought they were but maybe i am wrong, thanks everyone cassie xx

Finisteride for men only, ie contraindicated for women. Morning after pill for men etc.
