Fitness to Practise
I am due to finish my NVQ 3 fairly soon and after that I will be wanting to register as a technician. However, the part that slightly concerns me is the health declaration. My employer is aware of my mental health problems but will it stop me from registering as a technician? Is it the pharmacist, company or society that decides? I really don't want to have spent time doing the NVQ only to be told I can't register.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

If it is just mild depression, then half the population would not be able register.
If you are an uncontrolled paranoid schizophrenic with a history of alarming incidents, then seek advice.
