The RPSGB 'Medicines, Ethics & Practice' Guide is pretty useful.
    Available online too

    Hi sophie

Whilst Dale and Applebe is good for stuff on ethics and background info on the medicines act, it is pretty much out of date. This is a problem with all pharmacy law books, once they're published, certain areas of the law change. Your best bet would be the MEP.

sorry, should have made myself clearer, we are also working from the MEP but we have also been advised to use other reading materials aswell. the second year students here sugested that its pretty much re-writing the Dale and Appelbe's book. wanted to find out if there was anything better out there.

    thanks

    Cool Re: pharmacy law books

Dale and Appleby gets my vote all the time
Lots of case studies etc in it, very informative

MEP has its place, its the cornerstone for ethics and practice in pharmacy, whilst Dale & appleby , pharmacy law and ethics , deals with the legal issues (Medicines Act etc) as well as ethical issues.

IMHO for a well rounded view..go for both
