quick daft question - is it the buttercups or the npa course?

normally on buttercups you can ring up your assessors and ask them what they're looking for on a particular module...at least then you can get an idea of the sort of evidence they are looking for...

i would assume it's the same on the npa course...

It's the NPA, I have spoken to my NPA contact and found she was patronising to say the least. the last time I asked for clarification I was made to feel so stupid I didn't want to ask again

What is the difference between the NPA course and the City & Guilds course, or are they the same?

thanks for any info
i answered unit 11 element 11.3 with a pharmacists question " what endorsements have to be made to claim an out of hours payment"
i phoned the ppa and was told that you can't endorse a px that is dispensed out of hours. Out of hours is an enhanced service which a pharmacy has to agree to offer as part of their contract. As the pharmacy i work in doesn't offer this i just wrote what i'd been told and it was accepted - hope this has been helpful

thanks for the replies, have asked my big boss and he told me what you use to happen that they could actually claim for extra hours on the endorsement an out of hours payment for openeing up the pharamcy and dispensing an emergency rx but this is no longer done, so going to say that, we shal see

I have two members of staff frantically trying to finish this course at the moment. I am frankly staggered at the amount of work they have to do in order to demonstrate that they can perform tasks they do every working day of their lives. I've had experience of working with a lot of very competent technicians who did the BTec course by day release - I'm fairly sure most of them would struggle to pass this course.

I can totally understand how they are feeling. The course is demanding. However if they have nearly finished their course tell them not to give up. There is an enormous amount of work to write in the 2nd year and at the last leg it seems never ending. For tasks that are done every day it is an extremely repetative when you are writing and no doubt like myself was competent in doing the work. As for passing the course some of my colleagues are finding it difficult and are struggling at the moment so I understand how your staff feel. It is worth it in the end
