I'd really appreciate any replies. If there is anyone that has already completed the course that would be great
Is it the NPA course, if do they are extremely understanding as long as you keep them informed of your position.

Hello Annie, how are you finding the course?
WELL DONE ON POSTING YOUR 1ST UNIT. HOPE EVERTHING WAS OK AND YOU DID NOT HAVE TO RE-SUBMIT ANY WORK. ALL THE BEST FOR THE NEXT UNITS

Hi, it isn't the NPA course, it's city and guilds.

I haven't heard back from my acessor yet so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it was OK.

Hi Spider, thanks for your help. I got the pharmacist to write a simulation for the extemp. I haven't completed all the modules yet. I'm doing the modules and units at the same time.

I've just come across this message and wondered how you are getting on?

I am not sure who you are working for, but have a hunch! - I note that you refer to an NVQ Centre and wonder if you have contacted the Regional Support for the area you work in. They maybe in a position to do some observations for your NVQ.

If you need any help let me know.

Hello, I've completed unit 1 and that has been sent off. Is it that obvious who I work for Funny you should mention observations because I recently received a call from the NVQ centre to say that somone was going to come and do some observations I'm not sure if the observations are instead of certain parts of the course or in addition, I guess I will have to wait and see.

Observations are undertaken by a qualified assessor. Simply you are discreetly watched undertaking the usual tasks that should be covered as part of the NVQ course. Not all units can be covered by observations, and when I do observations, I usually leave one part of each unit for the student to do. Observations are especially useful where students are behind schedule or there are other issues.

Good luck with the observations and if you need any help let me know.

Unhappy Re: NVQ 3 Pharmacy Services

Is it just me or is anyone else finding that they don't have time for anything else other than work and NVQ?? We're so busy and short staffed at work that I don't have time to study there so I do it at home. Sometimes I wonder if my daughter remembers who I am!
