hello im curently doing my training to be a dispenser and im really struggling with my calculations my teacher has given me these practise ones could anyone explain it to me 1) calculate the quantity of each ingredient required to dispense the following prescription : (then there is a picture of a script with the following) chloral hydrate 200mg blackcurrent syup 1 ml water 0.1ml syrup to 5ml mitte 300ml i dont understand how to work it out ? and then the next one is even harder ,,, 2)calculate the quantity of each ingredient required to dispense the following prescription : (then there is a picture of a script with the following) salicylic acid 2% yellow soft paraffin 20% emulsifying oint 18% hard paraffin 10% coconut oil 50% mitte 50g Apply ON well with this one i dont understand the %s? ? could anyone help me and put it out how im suppose to do these ? many thanks |
