    Post The new NHS reforms

I'm sure most of us are aware now of the inevitable changes to the NHS that the current UK government will implement during their term in power.

With the eventual abolishment of PCTs and their subsequent replacement with GP consortia. It seems logical that the number of GP consortia formed will be greater than the amount of PCTs as the locales/regions covered by each individual consortia will most likely be smaller than that of the current PCTs. My concern is the adequate distribution of funding. This subsequently leads onto the question of will pharmacists expect to receive the same amount of remuneration for enhanced services that are provided now?

If not, would we be seeing prospective withdrawal of services and subsequently the uneven distribution of such services?
