I'm too flabbergasted to comment on whether I think this is a safe thing to put on the market.

When my arthritis was bad I would take one of each Paracetamol, Ibuprofen 200mg and aspirin 300mg. Seemed to work.

I would share your concern, especially if they are available from every corner shop and petrol station.

Assuming they are a P medicine, i can't really see what the problem with this combined product is....Surely similar to other combination products....assuming you dont' sell them to customers who are intolerant to either ibuprofen or paracetamol. But do like how the spc states a dose of 1 tablet tds, and a max of 2 tabs tds can be taken....why not 2 qds...take the 4g of paracetamol and 1600mg ibuprofen in a 24hr period???

I thought 1200mg per day was the max for Ibuprofen unless its slow release?why not 2 qds...take the 4g of paracetamol and 1600mg ibuprofen in a 24hr period???
I think these are a bit over the top. OTT OTC
If you have to take two lots of tablets you know you are taking a stronger dose. One tablet is going to lead to escalation.
Ibuprofen/Paracetamol/caffeine/Codeine/phenylephrine/VitaminC and Zinc for colds perhaps?
We could get all the suggestions from the hangover remedies post and put them alll in one tablet

1.2g/day ibuprofen is licensed P med dose. Higher doses up to 2.4g/day are POM.
