i guess they have just combined what is already available OTC..you don't tend to see 150mg plain ibuprofen? You cna also take ibuprofen qds as well...i agree that paracetamol is the mainstay of analgesia before adding anything else in.

I think anything that is marketed well will catch the publics eye..and they'll see it as a new analgesic so think its better than whats already out there...not realising its just a combination...same story with ibuprofen and nurofen. I've had people say that nurofen works so much better than ibuprofen....same drug so how can it work better???? but if they wan't to waste their money i'll be more than happy to sell it to them!

This whole 'Nuromol' thing is just another BTC advertising campaign to get people to buy their glossy new product. Boots online offer a 24 pack of nuromol for £7.14. As I'm in Ireland I'm no longer familiar with the prices of UK OTC meds. Could someone please post the current lowest OTC prices of 24 Ibuprofen 200mg tabs, and 24 Paracetamol 500mg tabs, so we can find out how much the public are paying over the odds for a combined tablet in a shiny silver box. I notice they also offer 'discount points' if you purchase this product. From my own ethical stance, this is exactly why I have never worked for this organisation, and never will.

i would never buy it at that price but if someone was adamant enough to buy it, then thats their choice.....similarities with say harrods and next...in both places you can buy a pair of shoes. in one place they may cost you £50 in the other they may cost you £500. both still do the same job!

but you could arugue this could happen with selling plain paracetamol, or even co-codamol..would you sell that?

Well considering you can buy 16 Paracetamol for 16p, and 16 Ibuprofen for about 37p - I find it difficult to follow the company training about it being made in such a way that it is longer acting etc. I'd rather take more tablets and pay less!

Unsurprisingly, I've yet to sell one, (despite the targets/pressure!) although we are reminded to always tell the customer about not taking any other paracetamol/ibuprofen products with it!
