I just borrowed enough to buy the pharmacy and pay the debts. A wholesaler guaranteed the loan as they do now.

The post exists, pharmacists actually can get decent jobs with good prospects and decent salaries. The world is not dominated by locumming for multiples

After 6 years, you can become a band 8 post…..2/3 years as a band 6 and 7.
I guess because its ‘Mental health’…the pay is slightly higher.

I would to go for an ‘Education and Training role’…

The Chief Pharmacist earns over 80K+ ….huge responsibilities though.

how about getting a couple of doctors to help you through a clinical pharmacy course all the way to independent prescribing, while paying you a ton at the same time?? salary bonuses and share in the pharmacy comes to ~55-60k per annum...initially,
