Well, in those days I might have considered myself attractive with my flicked hair, blue eyeshadow, cowboy boots, batwing jumpers and stonewash jeans, and Rick Astley on my sony walkman cassette player

Well I am going to: Not too sure what 'flicked' hair, batwing jumpers and Rick Astley are.
Presume the last was a pop star.

Indeed he was John...Sir Dispensalot has always been a fan, I believe. For 'flicked hair' think of Farrah Fawcett in 'Charlie's Angels'. Batwing jumpers were a cunning ploy used by the ladies to disguise the roll of fat which flopped over the waistband of tight denims. Stonewash jeans gradually erased all the hair from your upper legs, and cowboy boots disguised your smelly feet, whilst erasing the hair from your lower legs. Blue eyeshadow was, and still is, stolen from the closest Rimmel stand. Oh happy days!

Well the mullet sounds great -- like Howard Jones had. Cool . Did you have a pink stripe through it?
