I agree Admin - an awful name. Definately show the lack of imagination within the society. Surely the society should have asked for suggestions before and not after!!!! Did the society not hire any marketing expertise? - if they did, and that is what they have come up with, then god help us

What does it have to do with the society? This is the regulators that we are talking about - why on earth do they need to market themselves - it's not as if joining will be voluntary.

Jeff - they do have to market themselves - not in the stereotypical "selling" way - even if joining is not voluntary. We will have to agree to disagree. I still believe the domain name could be better

    jeff and Gowan

I just did a search - www.the-gphc.org or www.the-gpc.org is available - to me this ties in with the initials of the new regulator and would also be inkeeping with what other regulators choose to do. That is my point re:marketing - it needs to send out a certain impression -and in my opinion, the pharmacyregulator.org just doesn't cut it.

Makes no difference we still have to meet whatever requirements they lay down.
Is it true that they will be co-located in Lambeth for an initial period?

Yes it is. Bob Nicholls, chairman of GPhC, will be in the area previously used by the Library and Information Centre.
