I think the puzzle in the first sentence is answered in the second sentence!

I am totally in favour of ACT's and the sterling work they do, however does anyone think that the proliferation of ACT's will eventually erode pharmacists already diminished terms and conditions? For example a pharmacy I locum in used to get me as double cover on the day the nursing home was to be checked, low and behold my services were no longer needed when an "area ACT" came in on "nursing home" day.

Added to that, remote supervision will make pharmacists even less desirable. The bean counter's in head office must be rubbing their hands in glee.
