MHRA invites you to comment on Medicine act 1968

Pharmacists are invited to comment on the whole of the Medicine Act 1968 by the MHRA.
The closing date is 27/03/09, e-mail MHRA withy any amendments you would like to see.
We live in 2009, not 1968, and i am sure a lot of you think the medicine act has a lot of gaps to fill in.

For more information, read the letter by prof. Joy Wingfield published in the PJ this week.
So what changes are you looking for in the updated medicine act?

CP(US) forms like they have in Scotland would be a start.

Yeah I would like to know whether there have been any changes mentioned to the meds act 1968 too. Also the MHRA deals with the quality, safety and efficacy of medicines so how can it possibly rewrite the scripts of MA.
