I just discovered this site by pure accident. I can't believe that there's been such a support network out there that I wasn't aware of,
and I'm so glad I found it before I start year 2 in January. I'm from Ireland and studying Pharmacy Technicians NVQ Level 3.
I'm just finishing module 15 and 16 in year 1, and I have to say its been a very hard and challenging year. Having read some of the posts
that other members have written, and some of the problems they have encountered which I could throughly relate too, it's great to see I'm
not on my own. I will be starting year 2 in January and I'm a bit worried about the amount of work that is required. I heard its harder and
more time consuming that year 1. Can someone fill me in on what I have to expect. I work in a very busy pharmacy, so I do 99% of my study
and case studies at home, i haven't had a proper social life in over a year, but i know it will be worth it in the end. I'm looking forward to logging in and been able to help anyone with any module questions that i may have covered. xx
oh i am so pleasaed to hear you on the forum ciara.my name is lilly hunt.am only on the first year module 4.i relate to all your comments.but will get on, question if ascript is written for augmentin 250mg/125mg rather than co-amoxiclav tablets 250mg/125mg could we dispense this and why.itbis a dental script.co-amox is in the dental formularly but augmentin is not.augmentin is the brand.
Hi Im a new member as well, have been in paharmacy for nearly 2 years coming from a retail background, my name is Angela and Im also doing this module 4 and finding it somewhat condusing, question 3 is what is currently bugging me it ask me to dispense 15 Tacrolimus which as i beliee is in a special container of 50 and can not be split so would i be right in thinking i would dispense the whole packet of 50 as it states 15 mdu? plus queston 4 all about script charges would i be right in thinking 7 charges in total with Nizoral cream being SLS?
would appreciate any advice given, and thank you for letting me voice my concerns its a fantastic place to share concerns about our courses
i have put all the same as you! and made a point of saying if included sls it would be seven charges .but if not include it will be six charges,the questions are very ambigous.i have put the same for tacrolimuis as well,do you have any thoughts on augmentin question please help i am stuck.lilly
caira wekcome to the forum i hope we can be helpfull friends to share our knowledge .answer me prvately if you wish a nd add me as a friend,aam doung nvq 3 qcf on module 4.i try to find ou the answer but sometimes it is the wording of the question which puts doubts into your mind,take care.
