NPA Courses ! pharmacy tech

i have just finished the dispensing assistant course ! and i am not being put onto the pharmacy technition course with NPA. Anyone tell me what this course is like? what it contains? how long it takes to complete ? can you finish it quicker than the 2 years ?
how much more difficult is it compared to the dispensary assistnat course??

I am just coming to the end of my NVQ 3 and it has taken me two years. I am not sure if you are able to complete it before as my modules and units were sent to me one at a time and each one had a date that it had to be submitted to my assessor by. As I sent each one off to my marker I would receive the next one in the post. xxx

thhankyou for your help how difficult would you say this course is ? does it take a lot of hours?The pharmacist at the chemist is not helpfull at all!! so i have to do all the work with out help. how much help did u get ? i am hoping to do this course as well as studying 1 higher in the 1st year and 2 in the sencond year through distant learning so i can go to university to become a pharmacist. Would you say this was possible ?? or is there too much workk in this course ?

Hi Lucy
It is very time consuming and I had no study time at work to do it so it was all done in my own time. Help was also very sparce (thank heavens for google) but I did manage to submit mine on time every month so I didnt get behind. Perhaps it might be worth giving the NPA a ring and make some enquiries. Good luck x
