I recently had an interview at Lloyds pharmacy for the pre reg programme for 2012- 2013, and no results yet, has anyone heard from them, i applied for the london area.
I had the interview for lloyds pharmacy pre-registration around July and I've recently heard that I have been accepted. However, it's not for the london area, it's for the south east area.
In my humble opinion (IMHO) Lloyds are by far the worst place to work. They will stress you out, leave you unsupported and when all goes wrong, they will wash their hands of you. Steer clear!
In my humble opinion, it depends which area you are working in and how good your area manager or support staff are, regardless of which multiple you are working for.
I have to say the support and training I received was second to none. I was thoroughly supported both in-store and via the area manager. Even my OSM went out her way to protect my learning in order to keep a hold of me. Our training materials were far more in-depth than the training materials I observed other pre-reg students to have (although I have to admit, hospital calculation packs were a valuable aid to reinforcing my revision). We were pushed to over-prepare rather than under-prepare for our exams and we all did brilliantly. At times I did feel less well-supported (you know how women get when they have b*tch-fights with each other about the manager and ruin the atmosphere) but I took the initiative to speak up and make sure something was done about it.
It's in your own hands ultimately. Life is what you make it, and so is your pre-reg!
