    Changing my name

    Hi all

    Just joined the forum.....looks great

One thing though, in a fit of excitement I picked a user name that I just don't like at all ! Is there any way of changing it as I can't see it in my settings, only how to change my password, not my user name.

    Cheers

    Stephen

    Re: Changing my name

I am not quite sure what you mean by 'we are also not fond' ? I didn't mention anything I was fond of in the first place, merely asked how to change my user name And I can't see any signatures so I am not sure what you mean by this either.

I am a self employed pharmacist working as a Dispensary Design and manpower modelling consultant, whilst doing the odd locum on the side to keep my eye in.

Who are you and what do you do connected with pharmacy ?

    Thanks

    Stephen

Will take Johnep forever to describe his vast experience (over half a century) in pharmacy.

Stconsultancy is more than welcome to posts adverts etc for his services once he obtains permission / authorisation from admin.
This has now been politely explained to him. I'm sure he will have a read of the 'please read this first' section in the newbie area of the forum so he doesn't commit any more faux pas.
On a brighter note, his experiences and different angle to the pharmacy profession may well be very interesting to many forum members

He has removed his link and I have removed my posts. What does interest me, is does this show we still have a few independents left to use his services?. Do not know one within 20 miles.

Indeed ! I see he qualified in 1957. One of the few 'original' pharmacists left.

Many thanks Sir_dispensalot I have indeed now read the forum rules from front to back and am sure no more faux pas' (or is it pases, or pas's, or maybe even pars?) will occur. Looks like a good place to chat with fellow pharmacists and share experience and knowledge. Looking forward to being an active member

Oh, so is it you to blame for Carousel dispensaries?. The addicts love them, can dodge in quick, grab a couple of packs and run.

Most certainly NOT. Worst storage shelving 'solution' I have ever seen. The dividers get progressively closely together towards the centre of the carousel shelf, meaning that you can fit one, maybe two boxes at the front, then the space gets too small so you have acres of wasted shelf space. I have never used them in any design and would never do so Whoever invented them needs a slap.

If you ever find out who invented them, can you give them a bash on the head from me? I'm fed up of drawers falling out randomly, or you have a drawer open and a colleague doesn't realise and moves it round.
As for trying to fit stock on them (without injuring your fingers at the same time!)
