Pre-reg application when to start applying?

I am a third year pharmacy student, when should I start to apply to pre-reg. placements?
Any tips on it?
Where are the best places to apply? Companies such as Boots? Lloyds?
Or would I be better off applying to a hospital to keep my options open?

Keep an eye out in the pharmacy press and company websites - if you are third year then sadly you may have missed the majority of community applications, they tend to be earlier in the year. Create an account with pharmalife if you're interested in hospital. If 2nd yr then you've got plenty of time either way. Numerous threads in the student chat section.
