How to get qualified for EHC, MURs, Smoking cessation,etc?
There does not seem to be any explanation anywhere, on how exactly I should get qualified for these enhanced services. MURs not so important for me, as I'm not in England, but useful to know anyway. I applied for a distance learning pack for EHC, and passed the MCQ, but confused as to whether this actually qualified me or not, as I've not received a certificate or anything. Contacting various people about these services has not produced anything, nobody seems to answer any emails! Would just appreciate a step in the right direction, as to who I should contact or what website to sign up on,etc.

MY local PCT runs training sessions for EHC and chlamydia testing, they either send out emails when they're going to do them or you could contact yours directly (assuming they have them wherever you are?!) I'm not sure about smoking cessation as we don't participate in the scheme other than to dispense against the vouchers written by the smoking advisors and as far as I'm aware you don't need any special training to do that.
