Is daily work different every day?

If you are an accountant for example, you probably spend weeks on one project or piece of work. If you are a delivery driver, one piece of work, a drop off, has a duration of probably around 10-20 minutes.

As a pharmacist, I assume that there are no continous projects/work that go on for more than one day. Is this correct? Or is there sometimes a patient who is continously being checked and reviewed most days for a number of weeks?

With respect, would some work experience in a Pharmacy not be better than asking endless questions on an Internet forum? All our answers are going to be subjective anyway, and only some real hands on experience is going to let you know whether it's the right career for you, or not.

thats true culchie82, but no harm in getting a flavour from those who do work on the front line! as you say its very subjective and no 2 answers wil be the same

For me i'd say i have ongoing projects, but i'm in hospital so don't quite see patients popping in and out within 20minutes...we had a waiting time of about 2hours in our outpatients the other day!!! haha!!! nhs is no boots!

wished my projects went on for just one day! i've got a few on the go that will easily take me inot the new year to get signed off and finish!

I wouldn't class what hospital pharmacists do in particular as "project work". Sounds very similar to theoretical case studies at uni where you get two weeks to look at a patient who has xyz wrong with them. In reality patients and their drug therapy are more complex, they get admitted, re-admitted and you're not the only health professional involved in the care of the patient. As has been said before, being a bit more proactive will help put the answers to your enquiries into perspective - there's only so much you can get from an online forum.

One could argue that this is the case for the majority of Methadone/Subutex patients.
To a certain extent, almost every patient is a "continuous project", and that's why I love this job: I love seeing their condition evolve (hopefully for the better!),creating a relationship...(Cheesy but true!)
On a different level: some of the PCT audits we have to conduct, would definitely fall into the "continuous project" category: asking the same sample of patients, on each visit over 3-4 months, how they were coping/responding with their asthma or eczema medication, for instance...
