    Some advice please.

Hey guys, just registered with the forum, really enjoying the posts on here.

Anyways, down to my question (s).

I have finished first year of history at Glasgow University, yet, I have not particularly enjoyed it. By not enjoying it I mean it's not "intense" enough for me, considering the A-level standard. At first I thought it was "first-year syndrome", you know, boring topics etc, but this idea of pharmacy still upon my mind and throughout the year I have thought about pharmacy again and again. My A-levels are AAB, which includes Chemistry and Biology. I think I have a very good chance of getting in?

It's mainly any advice regarding the 4 years at university for pharmacy. From what I have read and heard already it certainly has intrigued me. Yet, I'm still not entirely sure. Any thoughts etc would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks, Andrew.

As well as introducing you to some new concepts, the first year will also be a catch-up of material covered in A-level bio and chem. Grades are good enough to get in. Career wise pop in to local pharmacies and chat with the pharmacist. The student section of the forum has more threads from people in your position.

    Thanks.

Yeah, totally didn't see the "student section", otherwise I would have posted this thread in there.
