    Getting payments for locum work

I have done one locum at the start of March, and was paid after filling in a claim form as normal. However, on doing work for a different agency, the pharmacies were way too busy to even start discussing to the staff about claim forms, payments, etc. I have done 3 days with Co-op, and one with Boots, but now that I've finished these, what do I do now with regards to receiving payments? Do the agency have any responsibility, or do I have to contact some Area managers, head office, etc?

    Re: Getting payments from locums

Agencies are usually helpful but it is not their responsibility if you are working as a self employed locum. My agency will fax or send me blank forms to submit for co-op bookings (and need to as staff in branch can't find them!) Boots payments should be put on the computer in branch on the day. If that did not happen then I would contact the store 1st - but expect to have to deal with their "PDA" eventually - it is wise to get their mobile number off store staff. Boots sometimes pay very quickly so I assume a delay means a problem and I always chase them.
