    Absorption window

Hey, I found a new term called "ABSORPTION WINDOW" so I searched through the internet to know about that term. They defined the term as follows:

Some drugs are only soluble at a particular pH or they are absorbed using a specific mechanism. With such properties those drugs can only be absorbed in specific segments of the GI tract. Those particular segments are named "absorption windows".

Is there anybody to leave some comments that you know about?

    Just a few thoughts...
Are they dressing up current knowledge of the pH of the different organs in the GI tract into 'buzz word' sounding term?
    Gastric, Duodenum, Ileum etc
Or are they referring to different zones in the individual parts?
If they are - would it be a bit tricky as individual variation might be too great.
