Hi im starting the NVQ 2 in Febuary and very nervous about the whole thing. Im 40 and work for the NHS in a Aseptic unit. I just dont understand the whole thing really from the unit to the elements to the modules please can some one help . Oh and can i ask about the evidance you have to provide aswell so confusing. Please be specific in your question, we cannot just give you the answers to the complete course. Where exactly do you have your first problem.?

Ok I have my accessement with my deputy manager nxt mth but nothing has been said at all about the NVQ so im unsure what its all about. I have the folder thats all. I was just wondering what the units,elements,scopes,modules are all about ? I know i have 6 units to complete but what are the rest all about ? Im just nervous incase i dont know what im doing when i start and i dont want to look like a plonker lol . Is there alot off work in the NVQ 2 ? Alot off written work for myself ? I dont mind the pratical side as im very confidant and dont mind being observed while i manufactor at all. Thankyou

When you say you have the folder, do you have all the instructions etc that should go with it? Sounds as though something is missing. In the meantime if you do have the materials, what is the first piece of work? Tell us and we can help.

Yes i was given the folder etc my manager now has this as she needs to work out what units i have to do with what accessor as we have 3 in our unit. I dont know yet what unit i will be starting till i have my accessment in feb.

In that case don't worry. Your manager will sort out what she wants you to do. You have shown initiative by coming on this forum. Tell them your worries at the assessment.
Ask them if any books you could study etc.
sorry for the somewhat frosty start, we have an awful lot of students asking us to do the work for them. I was asked if I could write a review by one student which she was then going to submit as her own work.

Hi im also jusr started my NVQ 2 i have just had my assessment today but still a bit confused by the whole thing. On the assessment plan under activities all it says which my assessor has wrote is worksheets for eye drops, civas. tpns pcas and the pre packing unit, and in the column nxt door under mthod off assessment it says work product what does this all mean ? Also i have to be witnessed manufacturing products also i have to do 2 reflective accounts now do these have been all done by the time i have my nxt meeting with my assessor ?
