The simple answer for your last question is no. Assessments plans should usually have a time scale. It may be the plan that has been written is for the whole NVQ which you are normally given 2 years to complete. When doing an NVQ, you basically have to prove to initially, your assessor then the external assessor that you can do your job. This is done normally by activities that are physically witnessed and signed off and by things like a journal or the reflective accounts. You will also have to answer questions and do reports for your activities.

Your first question that mentions "work product", i'm assuming that you or your assessor will record what actual products you work with such as chemo IV's that you may handle or a simple product that you manufacture. This is a huge amount of work so i don't think you'll have to do all this so quickly. I think you should just check with your assessor about timescales......
