hi evry1. i've just registered 2day. i've got a xouple of Qs. answers would be hugely appreciated.

what exactly does a 2:1 mean in England?

does it matter which uni do u get a pharmacy degree from? i mean i'm a 1st year undergraduate pharmacy student at university of manchester. it 4 yrs study and the 5th 1 is pre reg. 1st year doesn't count 2wards ur final score. some1 told me that at uni of bradford, only the 4rth yr counts. 1st 3, u just hv 2 pass em. so what i'm askin is: will the employers prefer bradford or manchester graduates? say if both of em have got a 2:1.

I thought they phased out the old degree classification system. It's Master of Pharmacy, Master of Pharmacy with merit and Master of Pharmacy with distinction. Thats 50%, 60% and 70% or 2:2, 2:1 and 1st respectively.
