Mature student wants to be pharmacist

Hello. Im 33 years old and strongly considering trying to train to become a pharmacist. I was born in the UK but my parents took me to the USA where I got an American high school diploma and undergraduate degree in a non-science subject. I have no UK qualifications, but been back in England since 05. I was looking at these programmes in Pharmacy that have a foundation year, does anyone think that my background would be suited for those types of degrees? Or should I do an Access course first, then apply to normal 4-year programmes? Also, how can I go about getting any work experience at all in a Pharmacy setting? Any help appreciated very much.

Bear in mind that you will be 38+ when you qualify, and the financial side of it.
There are Universities that do a foundation year.
Where am I?; In the Pharmacy.
Who are you?; The new Number 2.
Who is number 1?; You are number 6.
    What do you want?;..................

Get some proper careers advice, or do it yourself using such information as Free Jung + Enneagram Personality Test

I wonder if I wouldn't do it that way any more: I think I might look into heath foods and supplements, and while running that business, take a qualification as a medicinal herbalist. Less certain, but your own boss.

Jungian typology has been used to correlate with careers for years: there is a huge database of occupations which correlate well with particular personality types. The commonly used Myers-Briggs test is based on Jung's work, but it costs, and my understanding is that this on-line test is free.

The Enneagram as used here has developed from an Islamic personality typing system, which, believe it or not, is a favourite of a number of Catholic orders nowadays. It has been less correlated with careers, but there has been a lot of work done in the field of human interrelations, employee and er, man and wife, that kind of thing, as well as its use for more spiritually oriented purposes (Jung developed his system for personal and spiritual development too, of course). It usually required more work to get to your Enneagram type, as tests will give you an idea but often not get it totally right.
