Hi Princesskaguya, I did my pre-reg with Day Lewis between 2008-2009. I would personally recommend it, as you get regular training days where all the other pre-reg's in the company meet up, usually once a month for the whole day (as a paid working day) and the pre-reg co-ordinators cover topics for the closed/open book exam i.e. calculations, cardiovascular, drug tariff, etc. The day's usually a laugh too as you soon make friends with the othe pre-reg's in the company (I think it was around 40 when I did mine).
Support's pretty good, you get quite a lot of past paper experience and lots of revision material towards the end of the year nearer the exam. Obviously the tutor themself plays a part and I can only vouch for mine, I had Lucy Dean as my tutor and she was brilliant and I attribute winning C+D Pre-Reg Graduate of the Year 2008 due to her. But none of the others said anything negative about the tutors, so I can only assume that they too were happy with them...
Good luck with choosing a placement and I hope this helps...
Ravi, welcome to the forum.
